How long are cattle for sale on ATY?
When a user consigns cattle on ATY, the cattle remain for sale until they are purchased by another user or removed from the marketplace by the user that created the consignment.
How are cattle sold/purchased on ATY?
A Buyer purchasing the cattle via the “Buy Cattle”. When the cattle are purchased via the “Buy Cattle” function, the terms of the transaction are the terms set forth in the consignment.
A seller accepting a bid. When the cattle are purchased via a seller accepting a bid, the terms of the transaction are the terms set forth in the bid.
How are cattle sold/purchased on ATY?
A Buyer purchasing the cattle via the “Buy Cattle”. When the cattle are purchased via the “Buy Cattle” function, the terms of the transaction are the terms set forth in the consignment.
Is a contract sent out for a transaction?
Yes, as soon as a transaction happens, whether by a Buyer purchasing cattle via the “Buy Cattle” function or a seller accepting a buyers bid, a contract is immediately generated and sent to both the buyer and the seller.
What is the Commission Structure?
The Commission Structure is $5/hd to consign cattle and $10/hd to clear the money when a transaction happens. Both charges are charged to the seller and both charges are a minimum of $250.
How many Custom templates can I create?
A user can create as many custom templates as they need for their operation.
Can only Lot Loads be sold through ATY?
While ATY is focused on at least pot loads of cattle, ATY is set up to handle split loads of feeder cattle.
As a buyer, who represents my interest in loading?
In short, YOU! Buyers have the right to, and are highly encouraged to, oversee the loading process or send someone to do so.
