How long are cattle for sale on ATY?
When a user consigns cattle on ATY, the cattle remain for sale until they are purchased by another user or removed from the marketplace by the user that created the consignment.
How are cattle sold/purchased on ATY?
A Buyer purchasing the cattle via the “Buy Cattle”. When the cattle are purchased via the “Buy Cattle” function, the terms of the transaction are the terms set forth in the consignment.
A seller accepting a bid. When the cattle are purchased via a seller accepting a bid, the terms of the transaction are the terms set forth in the bid.
How are cattle sold/purchased on ATY?
A Buyer purchasing the cattle via the “Buy Cattle”. When the cattle are purchased via the “Buy Cattle” function, the terms of the transaction are the terms set forth in the consignment.
Is a contract sent out for a transaction?
Yes, as soon as a transaction happens, whether by a Buyer purchasing cattle via the “Buy Cattle” function or a seller accepting a buyers bid, a contract is immediately generated and sent to both the buyer and the seller.
What is the Commission Structure?
The Commission Structure is $5/hd to consign cattle and $10/hd to clear the money when a transaction happens. Both charges are charged to the seller and both charges are a minimum of $250.
How many Custom templates can I create?
A user can create as many custom templates as they need for their operation.
Can only Lot Loads be sold through ATY?
While ATY is focused on at least pot loads of cattle, ATY is set up to handle split loads of feeder cattle.
As a buyer, who represents my interest in loading?
In short, YOU! Buyers have the right to, and are highly encouraged to, oversee the loading process or send someone to do so.

Nolan Stone
Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder
Nolan Stone is a Co-Founder of AtTheYards and serves as the company’s CEO. Nolan is a 5th generation cattleman that resides near Eaton, Colorado. Nolan has previously served as the President of the Colorado Livestock Association and was the General Manager for the Kuner Feedyard for 17 years. In addition to AtTheYards, Nolan owns and operates S= Cattle Company along with his family’s ranch in western, Nebraska.
Involved on both sides of countless cattle transactions, Nolan understands the value of a seamless, efficient, and cost-effective cattle trade. Nolan’s experience and expertise in the cattle industry makes him the perfect person to lead AtTheYards.
Jacob Sebade
Chief Operating Officer – Co-Founder
Jacob Sebade is a Co-Founder of AtTheYards and serves as the company’s COO. Jacob is a 3rd generation cattleman from northeastern Nebraska. Jacob graduated from UNL in 2018 with an accounting degree and returned to work at the family feedlot and grain farming operation in 2020.
With a passion for innovation and practical problem solving, Jacob is excited about the possibilities AtTheYards will provide to buyers and sellers in the cattle industry. Jacob’s knack for numbers and strong analytical skills have served him well so far, and will continue to do so in his role with AtTheYards.
